Society as the main promoter of inequality   Currently, our society has been greatly influenced by the capitalist economic system. This factor has increased inequality because it lets see the great gap that exists between poor people and rich people. In Colombia, it is commonly seen that the state and the government always try to discriminate those people who do not belong to a privileged class.  Frist at all, it is worth mention that in Colombia the discrimination against poor people do not only comes from the government, as society is one of the main promoters of discrimination based on sex, race and social class.
